Established in 2015, Traxion Ltd is a family run training provider and consultancy service based in Preston, Lancashire.
Our main focus is on providing compliance and safety training to the transport sector, although we also provide External Transport Management, DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser) and Health & Safety services to small businesses.
Due to high demand, and the fact the courses can now be attended online, we have recently been focused on Driver CPC Training. We're now working hard to expand our range of courses and will soon be introducing ADR training for Dangerous Goods drivers, a variety of Health & Safety courses, and also introducing a new suite of convenient online E-learning Courses.
Alongside our training services, Traxion also provide Transport & Safety consultancy services to small businesses. You can see an overview of our services below. Please complete the Contact form at the bottom of the page and we'll be in touch.
DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser)
All companies who are involved in the transport or packing of Dangerous Goods being transported by road are legally required to have the advice of a qualified DGSA.
Traxion can provide this service to ensure that you are compliant with ADR Regulations.
A DGSA's role is to advise the company on correct carriage of Dangerous Goods, monitor compliance with the ADR regulations and produce an annual report. They also need to monitor the companies relevant practices and procedures. A full outline of a DGSA's responsibilities can be found in section 1.8.3 of the ADR regulations.
Traxion can provide a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser for companies that don't need to employ one full-time. Some companies may only need some very basic guidance, whilst others may need a lot more support and we can offer flexible pricing plans on a case by case basis.
Our external DGSA service includes;
Confirmation that you have appointed a qualified DGSA, should clients or the competent authority request proof
An initial audit to identify any gaps in compliance and recommendations on how to improve
Guidance on drafting necessary practices and procedures
Ongoing advise and support
An Annual Report as specified in ADR 184.108.40.206
